MEET JEREMIAH

Jeremiah "Guy in the Hat" Scharringhausen is a college junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communication and Mass Media at Southeastern University. You can find him immersed in a book or a writing session when he is in between classes.

Jeremiah has been a writer since childhood but recently rediscovered his passion for writing after participating in a creative writing challenge. His other interests include watching films, playing board games, and having long conversations. 

Born and raised in Texas, he later moved to Florida in late 2019. Jeremiah developed video-making skills in Florida, culminating in the lighthearted news show "The News with the Guy in the Hat."

After writing, hosting, and editing weekly videos for two years, it was time to move on to the next project. Seeing the opportunity to create the resources he wished he had as a first-year student, the idea ultimately became "The College Survival Guide."
